BKC's €10 to €10,000.

Following on from Tom's thread where he is attempting this challenge, I decided I would give it a go.

The plan is starting with €10, 73 bets at average odds of 1.10, rolling over the stake each time, will give me €10,000. Simple, right? No, not really, but I think I can do it.

It's enjoyable and if nothing else, it stops me doing something stupid with the rest of my money as I've something to keep me occupied.

First bet will be posted shortly.

So, you put on 12 bets at average odds of 1.1575 and won 11 of the 12 - so you came out ahead of the odds.

I think giving in is too easy - why not use some sort 'bank' [ aka 'the weakest link' ] along with your basic idea - say when you get over 25€, you take out 10€ each time you win - this will give you bankroll to start again when the inevitable happens.

After taking out two or three 10€, then run consecutive strands towards your 10k, again following the same basic rule of taking out 10 each winning bet over 25€, maybe 20€ taken out for each winning bet over €50 and 25€ for each bet over 100.

Following the above you'll be dividing out the variance, giving you a much better cumulative chance of reaching the end goal.

Considering how easy the first 10 - 12 bets were, I hope you won't be too discouraged and start again .....
