Free parking close to Mespil Road?

Hi, Is there any place where one can park car close to Mespil Road during daytime for free? I heard few years ago it was fine to park south of Grand Canal. But this does not seem to be true any longer.. Thanks!

Burlington Road is free parking at the weekends. Do you mean during the week?

Yes, I start work soon and am wondering if it makes sense to drive there.

There is a place alright, Unfortunately its always jammed and I park there so I must protect its secret location with my life.
