Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well considering I will only be sitting down at 6 in Against the Grain you will be seeing me at 7 in the Camera Club to help set-up... you know, open the bottles of wine... sample them.. :P

Suppose I'll take down the pictures of the current exhibition on my own then...

    Oh, cool!

Tracy, if you are able to give my book to Pa I'll pick it up from him, and like he says there'd be an extra five quid to the charity!

    Will do :-)

Adrian, we are still trying to put together the whole boxset. The idea hasn't been ditched, but it's proving to be a little more detective work than initially expected. Whatever the outcome, we will communicate it, so be patient with us, please. ;)

Right, detective work over and despite the promising start I have bad news. We managed to get our hands on 4 of the 5 books (incl. the last one), but unfortunately, there is a copyright issue, which we will not be able to resolve in time for the launch (if ever). So, this idea is not going to float at the moment...

Petra I'll call you to find out when to drop books, I'll drive them in and drop car back home before launch, just means less walking.. But that's.. Can meet ye for a bit anyway!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,079 ✭✭✭xia

Thanks all! They are putting up a new exhibition Saturday morning, so I don't know if there are signs going with them and so on. And want to take pictures of their order before taking them down. And forgot on Tuesday to check if the glasses are still there. Hence me wanting to be there for 6... and then relax;)

@Cork_Girl: The Gallery will be open as usual on a Saturday until 5pm. So if you want to drop the books during that time that shouldn't be a problem. At least Kevin who will be there from 3-5 knows about the book launch. Well, it was actually announce on Tuesdays meeting by Adrian / me but if people remember...? ;)

But yeah, give me a call - not sure yet how my day will go tomorrow though;)

I won't be able to make the launch (live on the other side of the country, and have my work xmas party tomorrow night), just I just wanted to say that I hope everyone has a great day/night, and a huge thanks to everyone involved in the photobook and the launch. It's a really cool project, and I know that we're only publicly seeing a fraction of the effort that goes into this. So thanks again to you all.

I can't wait to see the book, and all your photos, next week.

You beeped when you were beside me in traffic heading out to the M50 I think. You were driving a volvo? I was in a Dacia Duster that had 50to70.com on the side of it. It was a left hand drive car I was in the passenger side.
At least I thought it was you.
