Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Weight after a weekend binge

Had a bit of cheat weekend for a buddys wedding....I know a lot of weight you see in first few days is going to disappear when you get back to ususal diet and exercise routine but I was wondering how long this weight should last??

I was around 68kg when weighed myself last Friday morning and was 73kg this morning. Over weekend I could easily have consumed 15,000 calorieswedding meals, drinks, BBQs, few haribo bags lol - I used the "in for a penny, in for a pound" mentality unfortunately). I do still feel a bit bloated and dehydrated so once I get back to routine I would expect to see myself be at most 70kg in next few days.
I was unbelievably clean with diet up to the wedding for last month - still its definitely a shock when you see that many kgs piled up.

    Jesus.

Obviously if you have the calories it will add up. But you are one of the first people i have seen who has honestly put up a figure (which i am not doubting at a wedding for the weekend) that high. It is something i could do myself..

Must remember how shocked i was at what can go on in one weekend from now on!

Most of it is just water. I wouldn't be surprised if you were down 3kg by the end of this week if you get back on track. But ONLY if you get back on track right now, as in this moment. That's the biggest danger of a cheat weekend, cravings come flooding back for the next few days so grit your teeth and stick to it otherwise it's a very slippery slope..

Stop...thats exactly what went through my head yesterday. Had bag of Haribo and then was like.."i havent had biscuits in ages....or Pringles....or a Mcflurry" Very slippery slope indeed.

Yeah, that's the 'all or nothing' approach and it is the road to failure my friend. :)

Its all about the happy medium alrite...like to be honest I had been on a ridiculous cut for the past month kind of in anticipation of what I would do at the wedding weekend. I got the binge definitely out of system - and didnt really enjoy any of the jellies or biscuits. I find that I enjoy maybe having a larger portion of decent food...e.g the wedding meal itself and the bbq than the high sugar, fat crap.

Back clean today though...hour of squash down and a game of ball later. Can actually feel the bloatedness going. (My body isnt producing nice smells at moment though :) God help who is marking me in game)

no word of a lie, I brushed my teeth one morning and put on two pound!

Id weighed myself beforehand, delighted with results.

Weighed myself after just to be sure cos I was so happy.

    Facking 2 punds heavier!!

My weight fluctuates about 7 or 8 pounds during the day too.

Think that could be more an issue with the scales!

Ha! Are you sure you weren't half asleep and misread it?? You may need to invest in new scales. Mine would fluctuate 2-3lb during the day, 7-8lb sounds like a lot
