Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I did a quick search and couldn't see it anywhere.

Just came a cross this blog post highlighting a rather disturbing trend amongst Liverpool fans.

    http://richardp1975.wordpress.com/2012/08/24/full-kit-****/
I’d like to fully acknowledge Adam ‘Fitzy’ the Evertonian for inspiring this post. The images were mainly posted by Adam on Twitter under the hashtag #KopiteBehaviour, although I should also credit Chris aka Oscar160974 for the brilliant expression ‘Full-kit Wanker’.
Whilst I am not wishing to steal anyone’s thunder, I thought these fantastically disturbing images of grown men wearing full Liverpool kit in a variety of scenarios, none of them, it should be noted, actually playing football, should be celebrated and collected in one place, so here it is.
And a couple of pics (see full blog post for more):

    shoes.jpg?w=460&h=690

    ray-houghton.jpg

Is it just Liverpool fans that are afflicted by this or are there examples from fans of other clubs?

Come to think of it I think it is only Liverpool fans I've seen do this. Playing football its acceptable but I saw a guy doing his shopping dressed like that and i just thought it was weird.

Only if people take it as an attack on their club, which it isn't.

If anything it'll just prove who the Sensitive Sallys are.

I agree, it's not. But I can almost guarantee some people will see it as such.

I heard one story of a guy who went to watch his team play whilst wearing a suit, he couldn't have become a full-kit wanker faster if he tried when he realised they were going to win.

I'll hold my hand up to wearing a full City kit for a mate's 21st birthday match in Oriel Park. Got 'Barton 8' on the back of the shirt and did the knighting with the corner flag celebration when I scored just to piss people off.

    Went down a storm.

Completely acceptable when playing football (especially since our friendly asian knockoff sites are including shorts a lot of the time now) but not really acceptable anywhere else. Unless you are 6.

Was in benidorm at a stags in May and a lad walked into the bar(The Red Lion) in his full rangers kit , they were not even playing ,

It was bloody roasting and the top comes off and the lad to reveal the tattoo's ,

Captains armband , rangers crest , no 9 , all tattooed onto him and his name on top.

There was about 30 of them in the group so it was kinda hard to get a decent photo.

Correct. Any grown man wearing a replica full kit looks more like a 9 year old on their birthday.

Plain t-shirt, shorts and pair of knackered runners FTW.

Ya even where I might have the shorts and jersey from the same team, I'll never wear them together.

I almost put effort into making the colours look uncoordinated.
