Looking for a new phone as my Samsung wave is on the way out after 2 years and never worked properly anyways. What i need is a phone that is good for Facebook, Twitter and general internet use. Need to be able to download apps and have decent memory and a good camera. Never had an Iphone so is there anything better out there or is an Iphone the best? Also its important that texting is easy to do as i have no interest in a qwerty type texting set up. Cheers

    A few quick questions.
    What's your budget?
Bill Pay or Pre pay? (Are you due an upgrade if Bill Pay)
What size phone? (A lot of the high end phones would have fairly large screens)

On prepay at the min but price of the right phone will determine whether i go to bill pay. With 02 and intend to stay with them and use the 20% off all phones offer they have at the minute. Size of phone doesn't really matter too much. Budget for prepay would be about 300

I used to be the same, but I now use Swiftkey keyboard. Well worth trying out. Much much quicker than using a numeric keypad.

The HTC One V is a great phone http://www.o2online.ie/o2/shop/phones/htc-one-v/219/ or if you could stretch the budget slightly the Sony Xperia P is a good choice http://www.o2online.ie/o2/shop/phones/sony-xperia-p/220/
The only iPhone on O2 near your budget is the 3GS http://www.o2online.ie/o2/shop/phones/apple-iphone-3gs-8gb/58/. That is the 3rd generation iPhone, released in 2009, (6th generation will be announced probably in a few weeks).
