    Are you really attempting to use this to further your case?
    There are no laws in Canada restricting abortion. Since abortion reporting and recording is inconsistent and incomplete across Canada, it is not known if, or how many, abortions occur by this method in Canada each year.

    A piece saying that they don't even know if this method is ever used at all? Really? Your best shot is 'We don't know if it happens or not?'

    How can you say that D&X (or D&E or IDX or whatever) is representative of abortion if you don't have any numbers for how many are done (that's what your quote says)? Maybe you should try independent sources instead of pro-life ones?

    Folks -

    Yes, a foetus can technically be thought of as a parasite. And the medical literature has referred to them as such from time to time.

    While the usage isn't "extremist", it is unhelpful usage so please drop the term.

    FYI, I support the women who get the abortions.

    It would be great if no-one ever needed an abortion, if no-one was ever raped or got sick or suffered from mental health issues, or foetuses never got sick or malformed, of if everyone felt they had the social of self support they felt they needed to go through with the pregnancy. But, well, that's not the world your god created, is it? I would rather be pragmatic and help those I can, than be absolutist and help no-one.
