Currently with Digiweb, line will only take 8mb. Looking to switch, want to avoid Vodafone after hell on earth with them, who else has good data usage limits?

How's Magnet for DSL, anyone else I should be looking at?

    Hi

Just a note. Smart Telecom are now part of the Digiweb group. As for a better DSL service you mention that your line supports up to 8MB. That's all the encumbant operator Eircom will allow for usually, no matter who the provider is.

Is fixed wireless or cable (UPC) available to you? If either are why not ditch the phone line altogether. As you mention you are currently with Digiweb and they offer a 30MB fixed wireless service with phone from €44.95p.m. (Metro).

Are you saying you can't get Smart products any more then?

Yes you still can. Digiweb bought the company but it still trades as Smart Telecom.

I have used Magnet in the recent past and highly recommend it. Very little downtime ever, very fast speeds.

I went to Homevision.ie from eircom and find it to be an excellent service.
