Hi all. We have our mortgage with the bank of Ireland for the last 7 years. We haven't missed one payment.Recently we received the revised fixed price rates which if we adapt will cripple us. The. Aria le rate is madness also. I am just wondering of tw rate I'd s negotiable with the bank as if we go with rate we will have to go interest only as it will be too much. Also our house is in positive equity Thank god. But we cannot change mortgage companies. Any help would be brilliant.

    Thanks.

I'd say no, never heard of anyone getting a different rate from what's on offer over the last year or so.
