So I have done some more research into mindfactory.de and my findings are quite interesting. It seems that mindfactory.de has gotten better customer reviews than HWVS, mindfactory with a rating of 9.5 out of 10 and HWVS with 8.9 .

Check it out for your self:

    HWVS: http://www.trustpilot.de/review/www.hardwareversand.de

    Mindfactory: http://www.trustpilot.de/review/www.mindfactory.de

According to this site, mindfactory.de is in at 3rd best ranked hardware store(in Germany), whereas HWVS is 9th: http://www.trustpilot.de/categories/hardware

Definatly feeling more confident about mindfactory now. I'll let you all know how it goes if I do decide to go ahead with a purchase from them.

One more question. I'm looking at these two motherboards:
    ASRock Z77 Pro4
    Asus P8Z77-V LX

They are both at a similar price, so which would you go for?
Would one have an overclocking advantage over the other?
Are there any key features one has over the other?

    Thanks for the help.

I was just doing some research on the power requirements for the 7870 overclocked. From the looks of it under heavy use it can require up to 400W of power:http://www.hardocp.com/article/2012/04/26/sapphire_hd_7870_oc_edition_video_card_review/9. It now seems like I'm cutting it very close with the Super Flower 400W Golden Green Pro. It has 33 A from the 12V rail though (396W), so would I get away with it?

If monotype or any of the other psu authorities around here would like to answer; am I fine with the 400W, or should I beef it up to a 450W or a 550W? The cpu in the test is a i7 920 overclocked to 3.6GHz. I'm not sure how the power consumption of that cpu would compare to an overclocked 3570K, so might I be fine with the 400W?

To be on the safe side you might wanna beef up the power supply to 550w so that you have plenty of OC headroom.

As someone who scrimped heavily on a PSU I'd say beef it up to 550 - you'll always need a PSU, whereas your CPU and graphics can change

it could do it, but you wouldn't really want to. you're sweet spot is at 50% load of the psu. 550W would cover you for almost any GPU upgrade you will do in the future, and for 2 or 3 pints at the local its a price worth paying.

an OCd i7 950 uses close to twice the power of you're 3570K OC :o

I have used Mindfactory.de before, albeit quite a few years ago. Can't remember any problems.
