Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PDE in Trinity College - Question!

I know this has been probably discussed/asked/answered to death, but I will ask again :D

Do you apply for the Professional Dip in Education for Trinity through pac.ie (like Maynooth etc.) or is it done through the College itself? Is it true there's an interview for Trinity's course too?

Can anyone give me any other info (the basics!) on applying for these courses...

How to know if you have enough 'pac' points for NUIM for example on pac.ie - do the points go up/decrease every year, when is this confirmed, etc.

All of the websites are so complicated, I can't get any straight answers, so can someone clear it up now perhaps?

    Thanks!

    Hi
This is the website you want to keep an eye on for Trinity:

    http://www.tcd.ie/Education/courses/pde/

Yes they do have interviews, counts for around 20% of your "points" although strictly speaking they don't use points.

On pac.ie click to go to the PDE home page. On the right hand site you'll see a link to last years points and also a link for point calculations.

    Good luck.
