Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
I'm looking to get just a basic wash, cut and blow dry in Limerick city on Saturday for graduation ball. Any recommendations? Preferably around Raheen/Crescent or the city centre.

    Thanks very much.

I don't know what to recommend but I would say that I had a very bad experience with Melo Yelo. In fact I just had to get my hair cut short today and wasn't able to get dye put into it by my usual hairdressers since the damaged my hair that much and did a terrible job of cutting it

    Hi,

Halo in Roches street is quite good, if a bit expensive. I have tried a few hair salons in various deals this year - Hot Scissors in The Crescent, city centre is good and if you are price conscious, Dazzle hair salon in O'Connell Street next to O'Mahony's is very reasonable & I was very happy with the cut & blowdry I got there a couple of months ago. Its not somewhere I would have tried without a voucher, but I would return again. Its small & not at all luxurious inside but I was definitely happy with my haircut.

I had a really bad experience with a hairdresser who was in Marbles at the time, but as far as I know is now in Melo Yelo. Wonder if it was the same person?

beyond belief near glentworth hotel(across the road from it and opposite it a newsagents just on the corner) worth having a look as their prices are the cheapest in limerick and they are good for:cut /blowdry/straightening/styling the works!!

Where did you get it done in end?

Ended up in Peter Mark in the Crescent. It was only €22 for a straight blow dry, was in there less than 20 minutes and there honestly wasn't a single kink or frizz in my (seriously curly) hair all day or night.
