Promised my other half we could go to chapter one when he gets home from working abroad next week, unfortunately left it a bit late and it's booked out the entire weekend we want, any suggestions?

Not quite as high priced as shanahans or Patrick gibaud along the same lines as chapter one with good food and atmosphere

    Thanks in advance

really? nice atmostphere...very average food would be my opinion.

depends on what the OP wants, michilin star? if so try L'ecrivan on Baggot Street or Bon Apetit in Malahide.

you dont have to spend lots of money to get a great meal in Dublin. Chez Max near Dublin Castle and Don Mimi's in North Strand are two great restaurants with plenty of ambience as is Pearl Brassarie which is mentioned above.

It's not even that expensive....it's nowhere near price range of L'Ecrivain, Dax, Pearl etc!
