Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Make an appointment to see the coordinator of a YR centre to give you a feel of how a YR centre operates. Know which Fetac subjects you could teach. You normally have to teach a number of subjects. It's more a youth work job than a teaching position so emphasise your youthwork experience. Good luck!

Is it definitely for a 'Resource Person'? If so, that's essentially the same role as an assistant principal in post-primary and you'd also be teaching your relevant modules. I interviewed for a resorce person position before. Questions included:

    - Would you be better at the teaching or administrative side of things
    - If the co-ordinator is gone for the day (in which case you're the head honcho) how would you cope if the students became violent and physical towards each other/ you/ a tutor
    - How would you deal with a parent who came in screaming about such and such
    - Normal teaching question but with an emphasise on tailoring to the specific needs of the type of kids involved
    - Examples of how you would cope with the administrative load
