How to find value of 1996 Savings Bond today?

    Anyone know what a savings bond, purchased in dec. 1996 would be worth today....

    I suspect that's a prize bond, not a savings bond because the normal terms for bonds and certs are 3 and 5.5 years. If it's a prize bond it's worth exactly what you paid for it. If it really is a savings bond you will have to tell us how much you paid for it or write to the NTMA.

    Just came across wedding gift"£200 savings bond cert" and was wonderin has value increased since 1996. Maybe sitting on pot of gold.....not.
