If i had to pick one, it would have to be deadbaiting for pike in late winter/early spring

Because i have done some polls on the music threads and felt when the results were been shown it just took away from it rather then give to it...

Wrass and Pollock for me, such easy fish to catch, recently had an absolute beaut of a 5lb wrass down in wexford off some harbour, cant even remember what it was called (could be skibereen? or not.) Caught on the float using a massive king ragworm. No more satisfying feeling when you're fishing than watching your float shooting down knowing you're guaranteed the fish.:)

EDIT: It wasnt skibereen anyway, that godforsaken kip is in cork.

Lift Method. Float, Float Rubber, Swan Shot, Hook and Bait - nothing fancy. Nothing beats watching the float lifting a little and waiting for it to sink away or lie flat. imho.

I guess that's bait fishing on the options available.

Yes you can still vote for a number of things, like whats you favorite method for catching pike, spinning or bait.. Didnt want to just say course, game or sea...

I didn't leave it out, but again i wanted to include everything within the options... Lets not get into a debate on which is better course, sea or game... there would be murder!

Well bait fishing, spinning, lake fishing or specimen hunting....

ALL THESE METHODS CAN BE USED IN COURSE FISHING!

    Spinning is not coarse fishing.

What about pole fishing, feeder fishing, float fishing, canal fishing, commercial fishing?

It would have been easier to have coarse, game and sea as options and let people post what type was their favourite aspecet of the choice they made.

You might be right... sure why dont you create a poll yourself.. and i would cosider pole fishing, feeder fishing, float fishing all in the bait fishing option because you use BAIT

Using ragworm and crab for sea fishing is bait fishing, using worm for trout fishing is bait fishing, using shrimp for salmon fishing is bait fishing.
