Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

I'm living in Galway at the moment and have had a lot of trouble finding a good place to get waxed. Urban wax is brill in dublin but I would really like to find a decent salon here! Just wondering could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks. :)

I use Wish in Knocknacarra. I think one of the girls used to work in Brazilia or Urban Wax in Dublin, I'm not sure.

I have particularly sensitive skin and have nothing but good feedback for Wish. Cured my of my waxing fear!

Cool thanks for that! Do you know the name of the girl who was in brazilia?

I don't, but you can ask if you ring them. It was a while ago that I heard that so whoever it was could have moved on. Regardless I've had three girls in there doing the waxing and the results have been excellent each time.

Heaven Scent Beauty in town are really good.

They use Depilieve wax which is the same one they use in Brazillia.

Highly recommend the lady who works out of Ritz hairdressers on the docs. Got a recommendation from another thread on here.

They use lycon wax which is a revelation for the wax-phobic and the lady is super efficient and gentle!

I was very happy with a wax in Belissimo. A specialist wax at eight and a half months pregnant so I couldnt take pain relief beforehand. Very gentle and very thorough.

also had it done in heaven scent and it was good too.
