    how do you send a registered letter to a landlord who wont give you an address?

    have a landlord avoiding repairs on a house thats falling down around us, and all the advice says send a reg letter...

    If they are registered with the PRTB, you should be able to get the address from them if you explain why you need it.

    BY law you must have a rent book, the landlords adress or the agents adress must be on it.

    no rent book will be asking for one

    the house is private he has a few!

    he has said again and again 'i'll be down on saturday' and no show.

    where do you go? :(

    You are paying for a service you are not getting.
    Do like anything else, move out.

    Well you pay for what you get - but you're right, hot water & a hoover would be expected.

    You're always going to have this problem with this LL.
