Hmmm, I don't buy the train thing cos they've already got Hellfire but the other thing is interesting. I really hope they don't have a Ghost Rider though. I wanna see Johnny Blaze and I wanna see him in his own Netflix show.

There could be a lot of teasing of Ghost Rider over the coming months to see what kind of reaction they to him on social media etc to gauge if it's worth giving him his own show or bringing him into an ongoing show.

Surely that wouldn't work in terms of filming the show. I would have thought filming would start soon enough, too soon to use fan reaction to teases over a period of months to decide on a direction for the show.

If it's to be on Netflix it won't happen till they are finished with The Defenders storyline which will be finished nest year would be my guess then Netflix will move on with there next group of heroes.

If they are going with Ghost Rider on AoS then that puts an end to a Netflix series.


I find it hard to believe Marvel would not use Johnny Blaze in the MCU or maybe we will see two versions of Ghost Rider in the MCU.

I don't think there's much hope of a Ghost Rider movie. Netflix is where it probably should be and, indeed, is also being rumoured for.

well theyve already started to expand beyond the initial 4 character series of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, by ordering Punisher to series, so why not Ghost Rider also, marvel plan years ahead, their already well into development of Phase 4-5 and probably 6 of the avengers films, already lining up some the first 3 phase characters to exit, and move onto the next batch,

the only thing they seem to have miscalculated so far was the Inhumans storyline of AOS, it seems to have led to development problems with the Inhumans film they were making, and which seems to have been shelved now, so id say AOS has now become even more important in lead up to infinity wars than it already was,

I don't even think that was the case. Ike Perlmutter was pushing for an Inhumans film and for them to be introduced in AoS because of his vendetta against the X-Men. Now that he's no longer involved in the movie side of the MCU, Feige has pushed back te Inhumans movie to make room for the likes of Captain Marvel etc.

There has been rumours of Netflix taking on Ghost Rider, Blade & Moon Knight for a Marvel Knights run.

The Defenders is being shot back to back with season two of Jessica Jones maybe they will intro Ghost Rider in one of those as a guest star but a Ghost Rider series still won't be filmed till after The Defenders is done which what I said not that they won't do it.


Marvel can plan as far ahead as they want with the Films and shows on ABC as the they are both owned by Disney.

Netflix is a different different company so Marvel planning ahead with them could be complicated money wise.

No need to do that, plenty of excuses available in the MCU for super powers. Look at the Netflix series for example, no mention of Inhuman there.

The easy choice for them would be to make him an inhuman alright but his origin is fairly straightforward. Tbh, even though they're using Robbie Reyes, I'd imagine they'll use a lot of elements of Johnny Blaze in the character. I hope I'm wrong though; I'd like to see Blaze in a show at some point. Not much of an All New Ghost Rider fan...

Really dislike the ghost rider car, also can't stand the weird skull helmet looking face he has. Don't mind it being Reyes, as there's nothing to stop any of the others existence but it's not the same without the bike. Can't see him being anything other than magic/science-magic.

Only car he should use is lola as that'd be funny.

I know it's a series and it'll be spread out and filming will continue likely after releases but is september not a bit close if they've only started filming?

i think they can get an episode filmed in a week or so, post production is the long part, adding effects and all that, but it generally starts filming and the first episode would be complete in 4-6 weeks, and theres also a midseason break as the show filming times does tend to catch up to the airing time,

this way they can rectify morals outcries and things thatll lead to rating declines fast, its well balanced lol

Thought of that as well, any of his shows lately don't last 1 season (that I can think of)

Maybe his character will be killed off after this season instead of the show.

For some reason I had it in my head that they said the new director was female, but just rewatched that scene and they don't. Maybe it was just because the main candidates everyone was thinking of were May, Maria Hill and Sharon Carter.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns with a vengeance for the fourth exciting season in an all new time period, Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. ET. In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they’ve ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman, Lincoln Campbell.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack, and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy, aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz and Simmons have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.
