Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

3GS IPHONE -APPS DOWNLOAD NOT WORKING

    Hi Guys,

    I have a IPHONE 3GS.. when I try and download an app I get a message "update required" This app requires IOS 4.0 ,4.2 Etc.

    How do I set up the phone to get these automatic updates or I have to download specific software to the phone.

    Any advice much appreciated:D

    connect your phone to itunes and hit update.

    bare in mind if the phone is jailbroken to allow you to use any sim be aware that the above my lock your phone again.

    app developers are cutting off many older versions of iOS because it's not worth their time considering about 85% of devices update to the latest firmware after about a month of being released.

    Thanks for your comments . excuse my ignorance but I clicked on the Itunes Icon on my phone but I dont see anything identifying an update.
    I see a "More" Tab and in it downloads where it mentions "redeem songs" Dont think this is what I am looking for. Do you mind giving a menu path where to go thanks .....

    He doesn't mean on the phone but iTunes on a mac or pc. Connect the iPhone and click iPhone in the left side bar, from there click on update and you will be prompted to backup the phone so click yes. iTunes will then download and install the software for the phone.

    After it finishes updating you will be asked if you want to set up as a new phone or from a backup. If the phone is new to you you're better off setting up as a new phone unless there is anything important you need on the phone.

    There is a chance you will get no service afterwards but it's easily fixed. If you're in the Kildare area and having problems I can do it for you
