Road to Ballyragget through Dunmore has been closed sporadically the past few weeks. At least the surface has much improved.
They are supposed to be putting in a roundabout at the N77/8 junction, but god knows if/when that will happen.
Our esteemed Minister would want to use his influence a bit and get this road upgraded, even minor realignments. The Dinan bridge is lethal, HGV almost clipped me the other day on it :D

There's been several crashes at the Dinin over the years - that wall has been rebuilt a load of times.

I know we can't complain too much re roads in Kilkenny anymore as we have gone from third world to first rate in about 5 years. But the N77 really needs investment as it's the main link to the midlands/west and also Limerick/south west now as the link to the M7 in Borris in Ossary.

Nearly added to the stats myelf there so :p

Loads more than that too - involving trucks and stuff. One full of fish I remember when i was a kid - all ended up in the river along with the truck! Too late for the fishies though!
