Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The DSPCA has recovered a snake from St James's Gate in Dublin.

The organisation received a call from the Guinness Brewery that the snake arrived in a container of empty kegs from Texas yesterday.
It has been identified as a non-poisonous corn snake.
The juvenile snake is said to be underweight and dehydrated and will be cared for by the vet who identified him.

Crazy how it got in but also managed to stay alive for the trip.

They are all still on holidays so it can't be that.

The snake will be 'destroyed humanely', the guiness will be 'drunk responsibly' and we can then get back to our 'important' lives.

Nah, that would be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I won't be shedding any tears over this. It's not exactly a coil of mystery, the snake scaled the shipment and snook in, hardly cause for any venomous replies.

You shouldn't take such potential commentary so personally, now back to your parliamentary holidays.
