Well done to Mark and Catherine today....an amazing haul.

Just watched the great Natalie du Toit come second in her final ever swimming race...she is retiring now. I met her once and she is an absolute sweetheart....time for everybody. We had a great chat about prostheses and wearing heels :)

So close to breaking 21 seconds. Give him 2 years focussing on the 200 and he could come very close to the Irish record...:)

Credit to C4, BBC and the British public for nothing short of being outstanding to the praise and support they have given the Irish team over the 2 games.

I was just saying the same to the other half, they have given us so much air time and really been behind us even the Clare Balding apologising why Jasons race wasnt shown live, its a summer of sport I wont forget, brillant in every sense

And shame on RTE for only showing highlights at a ridiculous hour

The hour is unacceptable, but they haven't got the rights for live programming, hence it only being highlights.

Ah that would explain the lack of live coverage then.
