Setanta are showing full live coverage of the Athletics at the moment, Channel 4 are doing a lot of analysis and interviews.
Don't forget Channel 4 not only have the output on the main channels but 3 extra streams dedicated to certain events, if you've got Sky.

LEXI is a very important innovation, the fact is the vast majority of people don't understand Paralympic sport, which led to people saying Ellie Simmonds somehow has a an unfair advantage in the pool. I'd be interested to know how Setanta are explaining the classifications.

Watching Bosnia v Rwanda in Sitting Volleyball.
First time seeing the sport, very impressed.

Considering the two nations involved it really represents what is best and worst about our world.

Watching that medal ceremony on tv just makes you wish you could be there to congratulate him in person and be part of the success story. He's done so well for himself first and foremost and made us all proud of him! He's awesome.

He's f©%¿ing unreal! I only noticed his CP when he was walking. Watching him run, you would think he was/is able-bodied......

Medal Watch.... Another couple of decent medal chances tomorrow with Orla Barry in the women's F57/58 Discus one of our main medal hopefuls. She was 5th in Beijing and 4th at the 2011 World Championships and is always well in contention for picking up a medal. Hopefully she'll get in a couple of good throws tomorrow evening and bring home some silverware to her hometown of Ladysbridge in Cork.

    Orla Barry in action:

Helen Kearney who already has a silver and bronze medal to take home from these Paralympic Games is bidding for a hat-trick of medals tomorrow afternoon in the women's Grade Ia Equestrian Individual Freestyle final. Her team mate Geraldine Savage was 7th in the Individual Championshp test at the weekend so she could get into another top position tomorrow too.
James Dwyer was 6th in the Category IV Individual Championship test on Sunday and should do well again tomorrow morning in the Freestyle event.
Best of luck to all the Irish competing tomorrow....hopefully we'll be celebrating our 9th medal tomorrow!! :)

Orla Barry is up against the 1996 Olympic Discus champion, Ilke Wyludda, who had a leg amputated in 2011 due to blood poisoning.

Pherekydes...that will be some tough competition for Orla...wishing her all the best.

For people who might not know:

Darragh McDonald has finished 8th in the 50m Freestyle Heats to make this evening's final in a PB of 33.15. the final will take place at 17:45!

On that alone it looks unlikely he will medal, but great achievement to get to final. You never know though.

Poor French runner DQ there his guide false started and they got a red card

Brazilian lad won his heat easily in the 400m and got DQ'ed because his guide couldn't keep up with him! FFS!

Sometimes the 'level playing field' is a bit too level

Feel sorry for Guides. They dont do wrong things on purpose.

I think they are under more pressure then the runner at times.

Things are going well so far for the Irish ladies competing in the Grade Ia Dressage Freestyle Final....Geraldine Savage is currently in gold medal position with just 7 riders to go and one of them is fellow Irish competitor Helen Kearney. Geraldine will find it tough to hang onto a medal position given that there are some good riders still to come, not least Helen, but the positive news is that she has put herself in a great position and also Helen will be one of the favourites for a medal placing.

Hopefully Orla can bring up Paralympic medal number 10 for Ireland in the discus. That final will be starting shortly (7pm). She has a good chance if she throws to her best form.

For those watching Channel 4 coverage Daraine Mulivhill who is presenting the program at times is the daughter of Liam Mulivhill who was Director General of the GAA for years.
