Hopefully this will lead to a greater understanding of the radiation that surrounds us. We need to learn how to deal with this if we are to explore the universe. Loads more study on this please!!

Trapped in radiation? Is it not that they are trapped by the magnetic field at those positions, with the plasma causing the radiation?
