Hi, quick question about open drive. What restrictions are there in terms of drivers who drive under open drive and does their claims history matter?

    Thanks

    Hi Sam,

Open drive covers any driver between the ages of 25 and 70 with a full, clean driving licence to drive your car as long as they have your permission and haven’t had any accidents, claims or convictions in the last three years. The driver will be covered to the same level of cover as the policyholder, i.e. comprehensive or third party fire and theft. Hope this helps.

    Cheers

    Philip
