Visa Debit insurance?

    I have a Visa Debit card from Permanent TSB, does any one know offhand if it's automatically covered by any kind of insurance?

    That is, if I order something online from an Irish company for €600 and the company for some reason goes out of business, have I any option of rebate from Visa or the bank?

    My Visa Debit card is linked to my student account, no frills.

    yes, Visa Debit is covered, however Mastercard debit is not.
