Lovely blocking from the ref for scarlets try.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

We don't look secure at the back. I can see us shipping another couple of tries.

  • playing at about 80% I reckon.

Madigan with the missed touch, unfortunately an ever-present likelihood in games.

  • Carr needs to find support there, not an outside shoulder.

Need to be a bit more aware/clever here. There's space to be had but we're not operating properly.

    Cooney just shown, Boss okay?

And Mad Dog does it again. He needs to improve his kicking out of hand.

Was Madigan actually going for touch there?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,207 ✭✭✭decisions

Boss was on the deck a bit after Mads missed touch.

  • we're at 6s and 7s when they throw the ball around.

Defensive line isn't strong enough and we're regrouping poorly too.

    Gettin hockeyed here.

Another try for scarlets. Our small backline is really being targeted. Execution at the breakdown is awful, terrible ball retention.

Too much pointless kicking, we haven't held the ball for five phases since the penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

My automatic reaction is to fear for Conway whenever he goes into contact

    Leinster playing like Toulon.

We are giving away so many turnovers.

I'm not happy with nacewas shorter hair.

  • Very easy from Scarletts, we're just not good enough today. Execution is way off, still shaking off the rust.

Not a whole lot of positives to be had to be honest!

  • jesus ref. They all shouted "in the air" because he was in the air!

    weird moment

Tackle in the air, everyone see it apart from Ref!! joke

    Taken in the air. Ffs.

I think going into that scrum he was always going to give a penalty to Leinster.

  • A positive!

Hagan is doing quite well at scrum time.

Madigan goal kicking is a positive

Sure he's only ripping off Dougie...

  • Another positive.

Dom Ryan has looked busy and very very physical. He's a monster in the tackle.

fionn carr has yet to show anything that indicates that hes played the game of rugby before

I agree about Hagan, but the biggest positive is only14 points against.

Everything is pretty decent apart from our defense in the centres, just shows how important it is. Macken has a long long way to go if he wants to play at a higher level, he's so lateral.

    Just to let everyone know.

Jason Smyth just won gold for Ireland in the 100m smashed the WR, really is in a class in his own.

    10.46 with 10% vision!

Can he play on the left wing?

toner is doing his best to make up for auvaa's inadequacies at ruck time. strauss the best leinster player at the moment. tactical kicking is atrociuous and our receieving of those liam williams garryowens is embarassing to watch

Hagan! Great to see a young Irish TH more than holding his own

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,553 ✭✭✭✭JRant

To be only 8 points down after that showing is a mini miracle.

Not a good half by any stretch of the imagination. We're turning over too much ball and aren't doing anything meaningful with it when we have it. In fairness to Scarlets they are seriously up for it. They're very physical and our backs in particular can't live with it.

With the differences in the benches this could be a rough second half.

I can't see him be any worse than Carr.

    Maybe we need our internationals.

Our backs are just not up to this. Twice Jenno made try saving tackles in that but as soon as they went up against the likes of Carr we were in trouble.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

Combination of youth and inexperience in the backline, rust, unfamiliarity and George North was always going to result in this scoreline

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,207 ✭✭✭durkadurka

    Schmidt out!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

There will come a time where the Player Management Scheme is going to hurt provinces regularly, and results like this in the Rabo become the norm.

Was to be expected to be fair.

Sooner we can deal with a full deck the better

Leo looks half the player he was last season.

    Getting hammered:mad:

  • Scarletts are also playing very well, not just us being off the boil.
