Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yep a beautiful place alright, and I'm lucky to be a Cornishman but living in Ireland for the last 31 years. Still love getting back there as often as I can.

wasn't it boscastle which was torn asunder by the flooding a few years back?

Sure was, the white house and the building behind that, that is now a youth hostel, were are new buildings after the originals were completely washed away. They have been rebuilt in the same style as the originals. Hard to think that that small stream could cause so much destruction!.
