few things i need to say ,

you where interested lost interest and want one now , why did you lose interest , whats stopping you from losing interest when you get one ?

also , dont bother with them kits , there way too small for bearded dragons , they need 3-4ft vivarium , uvb bulb and a basking spot ,

tortoise nearly the same setup depending on species , and both eat a fair amount ,

both are great pets for beginners , i have both so im speaking from experience
there is a few forums online and some groups on facebook, great for a chat with other keepers and breeders etc... you could always pick up a second hand setup for bearded dragon and just new uvb bulb etc....

and would you consider taking in a rehome ? there are plenty of bearded dragons in reptile rescues looking for forever homes

if you would like more info , please feel free to pm me

tbh most of whats with that setup you wont use for the beardie , heat rock cause more harm than good , those bulbs arnt great either , you would need a strip uvb bulb

    3 ft vivarium
    http://www.emeraldislereptiles.com/dry-goods/caging/wooden-vivariums/vx-vivarium-by-vivexotic-vx36-oak.html

    get the 24" tube
    http://www.emeraldislereptiles.com/dry-goods/lighting/uvb/repti-glo-10-fluorescent-lamp.html

    bulb holder
    http://www.emeraldislereptiles.com/dry-goods/heating/ceramic-heat/arcadia-ceramic-lamp-holder-and-bracket.html

all you need to add is a uv starter unit , and a heat bulb (get cheap in tesco or aldi )

Going by your posts, I don't think anyone who rehomes beardies in a responsible way would give you one. You don't seem to know much about beardies, and think that it's fine for your mate with a female beardie to mind it when you are away. What if they mate and have more?

Cost should'nt be a factor either.

Heat rocks are extremely bad for beardies, they can get burned on them.

I've mine in a four foot tank, with a cool area, a moderately warm area, and a hot area with his heat/sun bulb. He can climb, hide, bask, or sun himself.
He has a heat bulb, and a uvb bulb, the heat bulb is about 15 to replace and his uvb bulb is about forty it runs the length of his tank and is essential for his good health.

Diet wise, he gets fresh vegetables every day and a carton of crickets a week, he's almost 6 so that's a good ratio from everything I have read.

    It's about 15 a week in total.

They are great first time pets, but not to be neglected, they love to be handled, going outside in the right environment, having a run around and have their quirks, mine loves riverdance, he sits on the computer rapt with attention if we put it on.

iv got 10 beardies , and costs get high , you can get the same quality bulbs for 2-3 euro in tesco a pack of 4 , for heat ;)

your friend is risking seriously burning his dragon , if they mate and you incubate , good luck with being stuck with 20-30 beardies , as i can tell you , you wont make profit , be stuck with a 20e bill a day for food , and you will end up trying to re-home them ,

and everything i have said in previous post is what you need , don't use a heat mat or rock as they are completely useless for beardies

well what do i need ??i want the lights for this http://exo-terra.com/download/high_res/products/images/PT2613_Natural_Terrarium_Filled.jpg
the other ones probably wont go with this one please either send me links for all the stuff or list it and im guessing dont go near heat mats either or are they different

for a exoterra you need a uv starter kit with a 10.0 uvb bulb , and a ceramic bulb holder with bulb guard and a 60-100wt heatbulb , all available in most petshops ,

use porridge oats as a substrate ,

heat mats are useless for beardies , no use to them atall
