Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i have Been saying it for the past two years REINA OUT! he can't catch a ball!

he was once a world class keeper but these last two years he does nothing with the ball but punch to the striker or fumble into the net :(

Overall, they are not 2 goals better than us today.

Yeah, they might be a couple more better.

It's alright though, Allen probably has a 100% pass completion rate.

Nothing like a shambolic Liverpool performance to put you in a bad mood though eh?

There's still over 30 games to play. Overreacting a bit.

How can you say that when they have scored 2 and we have scored none?

    They really are. Sadly.

Should bring on Carroll for an extra option.

Three goals would be more apt alright.

If I hear it's just a blip and Reina is world class I'll explode he is now at best an average keeper

For who? Brad Jones? Doni is still MIA

Yeah, Jones. Why not? It will get to the stage where teams will just start taking potshots at us because they 'might' go in. Pepe is not the player he was, fine, he's still a good keeper, but it's getting to the stage now where he's a liability. Why shouldn't Jones get a chance, this is why we have people on the bench.

How many teams at this level have no strikers to bring on!? What a joke.

Remember when Reina used to be good?

Seems like he's chucking them into the net on an almost weekly basis now.

    He's not a striker...

Whatever about Pepe, Gerrard and Luis have been as bad as him today, haven't looked like scoring at all and we're relying on a 17 year old kid to provide that spark.

Forces Carroll out/brings Downing on for a striker. Genius.

Arsenal have been taking the piss with how comfortable they have been at times.

Even if Carroll was on the pitch now we'd be losing.

Haven't had the chance to post. Delighted. Both Podolski and Cazrola setting each other up and off the mark. Been really impressed with Diaby. Liverpool have great prospects with Sterling and Allen. They put a lot of effort in last week against City. Pool have played very well, especially in the first half. Like last week against Stoke Arsenal sat back and played well on the break. That's what they should do more instead of dominating possession getting not much in return. Time for a change and be clinical on the break. I'd sacrifice that for less possession stats any day of the week!

Rodgers interview after the game should be interesting. Wonder how he'll handle it.

Agreed. If people are going to start this **** every week, I'm staying away from the LFC thread and games threads. There are plenty of goals in that Liverpool team, they're just not performing, Carroll was as bad, if not worse.

Sterling will probably be snapped up by a big club if he keeps developing. Looks promising.

Lucas hugely missed. Gerrard not able to be one of the three he is too lose, not disciplined enough. Sahin not much better today. Suarez not a centre forward, should be on the wing. Allen is excellent.
Overall we don't have too many options though

Not too bad. toothless up front, not much creativity in the centre, didnt defend too well when Arsenal countered but all that said they're still a very solid mid table team.

I thought we were denied one reasonably clear penalty when Merta was all over Suarez.

Other than that though...difficult to complain.

I'll never understand the desire to get rid of Carroll on loan- I'd rather keep him on the bench for 90% of the season if it would mean he helps the club in some small way.

We were all told about how rodgers loves his stats before he came yet he couldn't see the one area we needed to improve  There has been alot of posters complaining about fsg not supporting rodgers by getting dempsey? Why the fook was he looking to get dempsey in the first place after letting carroll go?He should of been looking for a striker ffs.

Yes, absolutely. We are paper thin up top, so yes it will be a constant focal point of discussion until it is rectified.

Lose a player like Lucas and then loaning out his backup(spearing) was beyond stupid.
