Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What?

    Warrior campaign logo is

    "We Come Not To Play".

I really find it the worst slogan for any sports team ever.

Some people need to learn the difference between slogan and logo.

Yes, absolutely. We are paper thin up top, so yes it will be a constant focal point of discussion until it is rectified.

Been a long time since we haven't been in fairness.

Even with Torres, N'Gog was the only other main striker (not counting Kuyt).

Last season we had Carroll but he spent huge chunks of the season on the bench.

We were all told about how rodgers loves his stats before he came yet he couldn't see the one area we needed to improve  There has been alot of posters complaining about fsg not supporting rodgers by getting dempsey? Why the fook was he looking to get dempsey in the first place after letting carroll go?He should of been looking for a striker ffs.
Dempsey was one of the best strikers in the league last season.

I m getting tired of Suarez losing the ball when there is an easy pass available for him...yeah he can be quality but when he is bad he is very bad.

Sterling will probably be snapped up by a big club if he keeps developing. Looks promising.

Harrington made a bogey. Run Aidric, run.

The only positive to take from Liverpools performance today is that Joe Allen has been brilliant once again, also the fact that Sterling once again hasn't looked out of place and causing trouble although there's more in him definitely.

Overall we've been outplayed today and deserve nothing for being completely blunt up front.

Gerrard - words fail me, he's been that poor

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,326 ✭✭✭Jason Todd

A lot of positives for Arsenal today, one negative though: Giroud has been absolute muck for his Arsenal career to date, especially today.

Well folks, if you're asking me I'd have to say that we've taken a step backwards since we last played Arsenal.

I think you will find dempsey is not a striker. He scored 17 league goals last season but he's still not a striker.

Maybe Rodgers will need to change his system at least until January if he doesn't have the players he wants up top. Maybe 352?

Getting in all the right positions, great movement too. He'll score one soon and that will be the start of it. Great chance to do it in the next game against Southampton. If I was an Arsenal fan I'd only start worrying if he wasn't getting in the right positions. His goalscoring record to date shows that he will score goals.

I think you'll find you didn't watch much of Fulham in the 2nd half of the season.

Fair enough. I haven't watched him that closely, only when he's on or around the ball.

I think if Liverpool play as well as they did against City they could cause an upset today.Nil nil I reckon.

How would it be an upset if Liverpool win?

I meant a draw would be an upset. That's why I said nil nil.I never suggested Liverpool would win.

Highlighted by the fact that the only player that followed that Shelvey shot in was Gerrard. Thats exactly where a striker should be lookign to pick up the odd rebound.

Defo. I can't see how Rodgers would pick a single Arsenal player for his team if he had the opportunity. Arsenal massive underdogs here, Liverpool nailed on for an emphatic home win.:D

Shelvey surely deserved to be starting, apart from Allen hes been our best midfielder so far this season.

Shelvey with a Boris Johnson impersonation.
