Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Could you not also blame Suarez for not reading Gerrard's pass?

So is Arsenal's goal scoring 'crisis' over for now?

If Gerrard doesn't cop on, he's going to make the decision of who to drop when Lucas comes back very easy

Absolutley not, it was a shocking pass from Gerrard. The only time Suarez would have reached it is if his leg was 6ft long

Gerrard, once again is looking a million miles away, terrible on the ball

Gerard and to a slightly lesser extent Suarez are killing is with the sloppiness.

Gerrard to blame for that and nobody else

Sloppy pass in the final third. Arsenal still have to run the ball from well inside their own half.

Presumably every ball given away up front will be met with derision as a potential goal conceded? Or would you be expecting the team to be awake and close it down?

Well many of us in the LFC thread for awhile now have said the first choice midfield should be Lucas, Allen and Sahin.

Sahin hasn't got up to speed with things either.

Nobody else did anything wrong, Gerrard gave the ball away and Arsenal were devastating.

Diaby's doing his best Yaya Toure impression today. Very good performance from him so far.

Podolski, he scores when he wants? You suggesting he didn't want to score in the first two games?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,067 ✭✭✭✭martingriff

Liverpool not pressing and moving as much as they did in the 1st half against hearts and the Man City Match

How deep is Suarez playing? Pass to Suarez seems to Liverpools plan.

Worst I've ever seen Suarez play and I've seen him have some bad games.

    Opr

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Suarez gives the ball away more than any footballer in the premiership I'd say but we can't take him off because we have no strikers.
    Depressing stuff

Yeah, I agree with that but I assumed when Lucas was back, Gerrard would be pushed to the right of the front three. So far this season Sterling has looked far more deserving of a Starting XI place than Gerrard, if Rodgers has the balls to drop him

    The red nets look nice.

Haven't seen Borini touch the ball yet.
    Jenkinson not afraid of Sterling.
    Gerrard poor.
    Sahin looks comfortable imo.
    Suarez poor.
Joe Allen impressive range of passing yet again.
We're making Diaby look like a world beater.
