    Sorry to hear that, I doubt another CD store will open up anytime soon. Also a loss of ticket-master outlet.

    That's a real shame but a symptom of the times we live in. Because of all the different ways people can access or buy music now, the humble CD is very much on the decline.

    The record shop in Golden Island over in Athlone has shut recently too - it had been on the go for about 30 years in different places.
