Android Tablet /Google Play Issues

We purchased an android tablet for my daughter but we cant install googleplay. The android version is 2.3, any help would be appreciated.

If it's not a google approved tablet it won't come with google play. There may however be ways to get around this, tell us exactly what model of tablet it is.

might be called "market" on it or just "play". What type of tablet is it?

It's actually a Hello Kitty branded tab made by Ingo, It was bought from littlewoods but had an android market logo beside it.

You may be confusing the android logo with the google play logo. What model tablet was it?

I think these are supposed to be for kids, so they come with a locked down ingo market.

ive got one these came today and am having same problem say it is runs on ice cream sandwich!! but no google play!! didnt u manage to get it on?

What I would do is simply google Google play .apk and install it from there...

In the end I just got fed up with the tablet and sent it back. Bought a prestigio brand one since and it's far superior. Ideal for a child wanting a proper tablet or an adult for a cheaper option.
