Help updating my locked iPhone?

    Hi everyone,

    So I bought an iPhone on ebay about a year ago. It is jailbroken and unlocked. I'm very happy with it, but the only problem is I can't update it on iTunes or it locks and I can't get back into it. This means I can't update to iOS 5 or anything, which is annoying because alot of apps now require this update.

    Is there anything that can be done about this?! I would love to be able to update my phone! Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.
