    Hi Folks,
We're playing a gig in Galway this weekend - where's a cheap place to rest for the night? Not necessarily looking a hotel or anything, just somewhere to sleep and head off the next day.

    Cheers!
    R.

Crashing is never cheap imo, especially if you are driving a new car, or crash into someone esle's expensive car.

my best advice is don't do it, keep her between the ditches :)

Galway is one of the more expensive accomodation spots in the country.
    We don't want riff-raff

    Feckit OP.

You're in Galway - let your hair down, splash a little cash and treat yourself. ;)

I've couch surffed all across Europe and never once had a bad experience, all you have to do is be selective with who you stay with.
There are rating and review systems for a reason.

If ye have a van/camper and a few mattresses just park down by the Docks. 3quid for the night or a few bob extra if you want to plug yourself in.
Who are yis anyways? Not 'I Draw Slow' by any chance? Looking forward to that gig.

Thanks guys! Slight change of plan though. We've had to postpone the Galway gig for a little while.
    thesandeman, we're called Amidships - http://amidships.bandcamp.com/
We're supporting Frightened Rabbit soon in Portrush and Belfast.

There are 6 of us, so couch-surfing is a tad out of the question. Will probably look for a hostel so!
