Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

tethering Iphone to zoom 3g broadband router 4501

    Hi,

    I came across this tutorial on the Zoomtel website that apparantly enables tethering of the Iphone to a 4501 zoom 3g broadband router (thereby neatly replacing the need for a USB dongle). Well at least in theory.

    I installed the latest firmware for the router as requested W1.0.12 (http://www.zoomtel.com/techsupport/mobile_broadband/mobile_broadband_4501.shtml), then I rebooted, set up the APN for 3 (3ireland.ie) with password and username left blank and tethered the Iphone but the 3g connection is not detected by the router.

    Has anybody done this and can clarify if this works. I assume somebody must have because zoomtel has 3.ie APN settings on their website.
