Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know how long it takes to process a maternity benefit claim?

We actually had our baby in June but there were major delays with Mrs. Gift's paperwork from her employer....

We applied there recently with a cover letter explaining the situation along with a doctors note ( she went a bit early)

    Hi
I think mine was 6 weeks. They sent me a letter when the form was received, then another staing what my weekly payment would be.

    HTH

Cheers for that...am I right in thinking that if you qualify you get back pay for the time it took to process the application?

That still seams really long, a friend had her paperwork lost as the company closed down and still had the payment by the time she had the baby.

In saying that i found the maternity section the most professional section to deal with. What are they asking you for or are they just making a decision.
