Hi I have home insurance with AIB insurance and I paying 279 euro a year. Recently I tried to clain for a plasma tv which I damaged to the value of about 500 euro. I was told that I would have to pay the first 250 euro myself and if I went ahead with claim I would loose my 64% no claim bonus which would result in my premium increasing by at least 70 euro a year for at least 5 years. This means after paying insurance for 12 years to above company, it would cost me to claim for my tv. This to me is crazy and would be grateful for any advice
