Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How did the deep fat fried mars bar come about anyways? :pac:

I reckon a very large man was in a takeaway and brainstormed one day. lol.

I doubt there's much the Scottish haven't tried to deep-fry. They even deep-fry butter.. it's called 'Braveheart Butter'

I heard in some remote parts of Scotland, the people eat vegetables.

I need one. I'm salivating all over my keyboard here. And not for the usual reasons.

It would be kind of funny if the deep fried mars bar has become a fancy sit down dessert in gastropubs.

You can even order it to share in a group and they bring it out on a plate, all nearly sliced with cocktail sticks to eat with.

Always wanted to try a battered cream egg.

had one from a place in Edinburgh...not good- I'm a deep fried mars bar purist thru and thru.

The cosy in Artane does the mars bars. It even does cream eggs when they're in season

They can't be that much more unhealthy than a normal mars bar surely?
