Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Probably wants more money, how arrogant, etc. etc.

Did you read your own article? He wants more first team football.

why believe him? No one believes Ronaldo.

From what I have seen of him this season he has not played very well.

What has Ronaldo got to do with anything?

He was brutal against Valencia last weekend. If he wants a consistent run in the team then he should earn it by playing well instead of moaning about it. I have no sympathy; he left Arsenal for Barcelona knowing that he wasn't going to be a guaranteed starter.

I'm drawing a parallel with the Ronaldo situation.

I thought all top class professional footballers who were unhappy were supposed to be accused of being greedy egotists jsut after more money, regardless of their motivations.

Cesc took a wage cut when he joined barca so I don't think it's money he's after.

So this is really just another Ronaldo thread?

What do you think his motivations are?

Ronaldo offered little explanation for being unhappy, just saying it was a professional issue. There was always going to be speculation as to what it was about, rightly or wrongly.

Cesc explained exactly why he is unhappy, so there can be little speculation on that part.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Who the hell are you leaving out? We've gotten more than suitable replacements now. :D

Besides, I wouldnt want him back right now anyway. In a five years time? Maybe, but not now. It'd feel like being a second choice and he'd want to leave again once Xavi and co are starting to retire.

I'm not seeing this parallel...did you read the article in the OP?

Why did you think that about "all top class professional footballers"?

If Fàbregas is so sad..maybe himself and Ronaldo can find happiness at old trafford.

Ronaldo Fàbregas rooney and RVP. I like the sound of that.

If Barca were willing to let him go cheap enough I'd give him a crack in the United midfield.

People drawing parallels between the cesc and Ronaldo situations should note how cesc manages to convey his disappointment while still managing to sound like an adult

Perhaps this is why cesc isn't subjected to the same ridicule as ronaldo?
