Congarts to Swords girl Catherine Walsh on her achievments at Paralympic games on winning 2 medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze in Cycling.

Lets hope Fingal C.C can organise a street party for Swords to recognise her wonderful achievments

As it was put on Morning Ireland today "It aint about disability its about ability"

She works in Rush/Lusk Community Care Home. I'd love to see her honoured for her Paralympic achievements.

A very inspiring & genuine lovely lady.

Catherine is a truly amazing athlete (an ex track athltete who won a paralypic bronze in the pentathalon) she is a reigning cycling world champion, with silvers and bronze at past world championships as well.
Does this all while working as a healthcare professional and bringing up a young family.
Fran Meehan her tandem "pilot" is an exceptionally talented cyclist in her own right.
