Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    In order to sell stuff like this at this price the advertising industry must convience the public it will add to how they are seen by others, it's all based on making people believe that by having their product they will stand out from the crowd. The con is quiet subtle, by standing out the buyer feels more of an individual and therefore showing everyone the wounderful person they really are.
    Designer labels are identies that you buy into, they're expensive therefore "exclusive". If everyone could buy them they'd lose their psychological value and all you'd be left with is their material value, which is feck-all really.

    I remember seeing ad's on telly when I was only about 14/15. LA gear, God damn things broke my heart. My parents couldn't afford them in a month of sundays. I worked on a market stall in my hometown for a good couple of months. If memory serves me right, they were near on £60 at the time. At that very point in time, I went on a school trip to Dublin and I had these white and green boot runners on me and it was a brilliant point in my life. Now I know, thats when i realised the value of not only money but appreciation....
