How much does barrel length affect AEG performance?

    I was looking at different AEG models that come in a choice of different lengths i.e. JG G36 / G36K / G36C or the different lengths of the G&G GR15 Raiders

    Does the inner barrel length actually affect range or accuracy & by how much?or is there more to it than that?

    If one changes the length of the barrel (converting a G36C to a K or vice versa), are there other changes that need to happen to avoid problems?

    you may need to change the cylinder in the gearbox to suit a longer/shorter barrel
