Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nope, still wrong. Plus my e-penis is already gargantuan which is great considering the internet is serious business.

    Matthews to Rovers?

    Roddy is still available.

Hes never been relegated so might be able to keep them up next year.

    Kenny gone - official.

Hearing Jim Magilton is the top target, but it's all only speculation right now.

Didn't think Magilton was liked by some of the board?

Very strong rumours that Matthews was approached about it

Sean Connor isn't working in Africa anymore..

Think we have to look outside the league again this time. The LoI manager merry-go-round doesn't work and the most successful managers in the league over the last few years have been outsiders coming in.

I saw it. It was white writing on a black flag (shocker, I know).

I was much more interested in the absolute hiding we were Rovers in their own backyard though. Thanks Special Agent Kenny :D

Need someone to come in with an iron fist to last seasons players who have maybe 'relaxed' this season. McCabe, Sullivan, Twigg, Oman, Dennehy..

Awful game last night, awful atmosphere, though I'm sure Bohs fans will disagree. A sloppy goal from a sloppy mistake with the first of two shots on target. Rovers hit the bar twice and did nothing else and never looked like equalising. Same as at Dalymount, Bohs were running free through the middle on the break in the second half.

The referee was very fond of his whistle which never let the game get going.

It was up for a few seconds. Nothing to do with Shamrock. The fact that it was down after a few seconds and didn't go back up again is what you didn't point out.

    Nothing to do with Shamrock.

It was unfurled in the shamr*ck section of fans.

The fact that it was up at all is what some have a problem with.

I don't really care myself to be honest.

Exactly. That's why it was down after a few seconds. Not all the stewards are as fast as Usain Bolt obviously.

    Nothing to do with Shamrock

Weird the number of non-Shamrock Rovers fans seem to turn up at random Shamrock Rovers games.

And they always seem to do things that make the club look bad.

Strange that it's always the non-Shamrock Rovers fans, at Shamrock Rovers matches who behave like this, very strange altogether.

Read the third sentence in post 219.
Does it have to be spelled out any clearer than that.
A couple of spas put up an offensive banner. It lasts a few seconds and the matter is dealt with. It didn't go up again.

    They were Shamrock Rovers fans.

Nono, wait, your logic is defunct.

Shamrock Rovers are the best supported Irish team. Anyone who can add will realise statistically we'll have more dickheads, fasicts (Insert whatever else we apparently are). The lads who did it more than likely were Rovers fans.

I would honestly love for any poster from another club to post that none of their fans are racist, fascist, or watever else.

Well...Rovers won two titles in a row, did they? That always attracts new supporters, because they tend to support a team, which is successful.

And one thing is for sure, the more supporters you have, the more morons might be found in their own ranks...statistics ;)

But how many supporters from Germany do you have in Tallaght? I know, Shels have one, I'm sure about that :D

Broken glass & blood everywhere. Then they had to be escorted up the Tallaght bypass to the stadium by riot vans.

No need for it. Im all for rivals & abit of abuse/banter thrown about in chants etc.. but to go out of the way to cause trouble. Scum. Not even 'fans' of football.

Match was brutal anyways. Glad to see the back of Kenny today.

It takes two to tango, there were no innocent people caught up in that last night

Oh Bohsboy, I was thinking of your response before I posted that, blissfully unaware as usual.

The last line of what I wrote is essential. If you're saying that within the Boh's supporters there are not, Dickheads, facists, and racists, I think it's you who is embarrassing yourself.

There's an element within every club. It's how they are dealt with is what makes the club what they are, and as stated the banner was taken down in about a minute.

Don't try and pontificate to me, I know what r*v*rs "fans" are and again the usual responses here are borderline comical but sadly expected.

Yet another low point with the display of the flag, couldn't care less how long it was held up for.

On another delightful note, I see Luxembourg could have put paid to Michael O'Neills tenure up North. A great week.

Its nothing against you, but getting fed up of hearing this line, or similar.

Some Clubs have Higher minority of Scum then others. Some fans seem to cause more trouble then others.

Some clubs can deal with it better and thats where there is bad reputation of support and club who dont.

Do you really want to get into a pissing contest about fan behaviour. Because a list about Rovers is going to be a lot longer than that of any other LOI team......

Hold on a second, they walked over 1km out of their way & back to cause hassle. They had no reason what so ever to be down there. Would have been zero trouble, well, bar a minority on both sides around the stadium as per usual.

And there where quite a few innocent people caught up in it. Familys going to the match, people in the area, locals that had no interest in football enjoying a pint in the lounge. I seen a lad of about 70 trying to get out of the middle of it caught out having a smoke.

Not to mention all the cars caught in the Traffic.

You cant defend that bollox. Nothing to do with football.

have a look at why 50/60 odd Rovers fans were outside the pub with bottles, glasses and pool cues not wearing colours, i aint condoning it all im saying is you cant just pin it on Bohs, it takes two to make a riot!!!

Someone is feeding you bull my friend, Molloys is where Rovers and their Cliftonville lads were having a few drinks as usual. Bohs with their Wrexham buddies arrived and it kicked off for a matter of moments. Equal scum beating each other till one retreats, let them be imo.

Sometimes it takes even three. Heavy handed stewards or police are sometimes not the solution to de-escalate tension between two rival groups of supporters.

But, on the other side, so called supporters, arming themselves with the interior of a pub has nothing to to with football either.

I'm guessing they were the lads that had several riot vans block the road to traffic between the bypass and the old Blessington Road/Greenhills Rd (i.e. around Molloys) as my bus turned the corner. About 100 of them I'd say.

They looked to be doing laps of the village.:pac:

Didn't hear of any trouble the other night away from the ground but it always happens, they are scum as bad as each other.

The only difference between the 2 clubs is that Bohs acted on people who have/had caused trouble in the past(Yes yes the Derry 4 still go to games is the response ill get to this) and rovers don't. It is a known fact they won't ban people because they are more interested in money.

You have people going to games who have attacked other rovers fans, other clubs fans, rovers staff who still attend every week. There is no defending that from the clubs point of view. They should be seen to act.

Listen. I was there, passing by as it happened! Not denying there was'nt a few heads outside but the majority had well left for the match. This was just after 7.50 as I was & rushing to get up in time for K.O while avoiding the scum.

100% agree, they're not even there for the football.

My point is tho. Bohs 'fans' went all the way out of their way, to the village, to cause nothing but hassle.

Standard. The infamous Hill 16 video is from 15 minutes after kickoff with the game taking place in Tolka Park. As bad as each other, at least they're keeping the majority of fans out of it.
