Remember the old Singer shop on the market slip? That's gone now I think but I am looking for somewhere like that in Kilkenny where I can buy fabric by the metre off a roll.

Maybe some here might be able to offer some insight!?

There is a sowing shop on James St across from Quinn Computers.

And there's Threads of Green Fabric who are based in Purcellsinch Business Park, Dublin Road,Kilkenny.

They're having a 1-day sale on Saturday 15th Sept. with 33% off all stock, so it might be worth taking a look there.

Millypenny, is the sale in the shop or online? They're usually closed on Saturdays.
