Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best coffee in Dublin City Centre (with outside seating...)?

My mate and I have a tradition of every Saturday going to Fixx on Dawson St for coffee, we love the coffee in there and the seating area is great as we are both smokers(I know...).

But lately, as much as we love the coffee (and staff) in Fixx we are getting bored with the place and need to find a new place with amazing coffee and good outside seating in the City Centre, to mix it up.

Would anyone on here have any recommendations for a great new place for us to try?

    Thanks
    RLG

3FE on Grand Canal st have a south facing outside section so it gets tonnes of sun and you'll get a fantastic cup too.

Ever so curious of all the posts for 3fE and Fixx

I've had them both and I certainly wouldn't rate 3fE, the place was filthy as were the accoutrements the coffee was burnt/scalded

Fixx over rated too, I've had better in McCafe

Stop the shilling, let the produce speak for itself

As someone no way affiliated with the cafe I don't see how this is shilling?

I feel 3FE meets and exceeds all the requirements I have for coffee and I will recommend them based on these positive experiences.

I hope you highlighted your issues with a member of staff at the time, if not how are they to know that you were unhappy? They would be more than happy to rectify any issues that had occurred and its more helpful than complaining in a non constructive fashion on an internet forum.

my friend - Cut out the back-seat modding. Report the post if you have an issue.

Neither shills nor accusations of shilling are treated lightly around here.
If you have evidence of shilling or problems with a post/poster report it but back seat modding and falsely accusing posters will not be tolerated.

I don't have reason to believe PPC is a shill

3fE's awards and positive feedback speaks for itself, just because you don't agree does not mean everyone else is a shill.

Eh, thanks for the replies :-)

Yeah I love Fixx, very nice stronge flavorsome coffee and amazingly friendly staff is what makes a coffee shop for me.

3FE was mentioned by a mate of mine yesterday to try out too. Twisted Pepper is a bit small and the outside area seems to have feck all seating (with added junkies haha) so will give the one on Grand Canal(?) a shot on saturday.

Had at look at their website/menu, looks really nice. Does it get really busy at the weekends?
    Thanks guys!
