Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I wonder is there a link with SKY preparing to offer BB and the proposed roll out of eircom fibre to those extra exchanges, it would make sense and hopefully keep the prices down.

I am in ENNIS but what do I watch for to know if cabinets are being upgraded? Or is it the case only one team will do each exchange ie move from place to place or will the work be done simultaneously?

In other words has any worked started in Ennis yet? The thoughts of 40mps makes me drool and even 25mps would be lovely.

I actually think I am dreaming when reading about this fibre roll out! Is it really going to happen soon or is it just hot air? And how will eircom market it? I wonder will it be REALLY NGB?

I also live in Ennis and I've seen loads of Eircom vans around and seen them putting wires into the ground hopefully the estate that I live in will be covered by fibre. :)

thanks for replying, apparently after loads of reading its K&N networks that do the tricky bit so once we see their trucks we should be on our way, the timeline is dec 2012 for ennis.

Haven't noticed any K&N networks vans around the place but haven't really been looking out for them. Do you know what areas/estates are going to be covered by fibre in Ennis?
