Anyone ever notice the smell of sewage around golden Island. Why have the council never done anything about it

Golden Island is built on the old town dump. I wonder is this the smell and not sewage? Sometimes down the back of tesco around the meat dept I get a funny smell and always wonder if it's from the old dump coming up thru the ground!!

It is stink at times down there, and is probably coming from the Sewage treatment plant.
